About

Taking an individualized, trauma-informed approach to mental health.

Hi, I’m Josie.

I’m so glad you’ve found yourself here. I’m a licensed psychotherapist practicing for over 10 years, and I love what I do. I’m excited to meet you and begin our work together.

A bit about me…

I was born and raised in Utah, and completed my undergraduate degree at Southern Utah University before moving to Massachusetts to attend graduate school at the University of Massachusetts. I lived there for several years while becoming licensed, and loved spreading my wings. I’m now back in Utah with my family, feeling grateful to support my community and the people within it.

I’ve worked in a variety of settings and levels of care, including inpatient/outpatient, residential treatment, school-based counseling, in-home therapy, & partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs. Over the years, I’ve gained extensive training in evidenced-based treatments for a range of mental health issues. I use all that I’ve learned from those experiences to help the person I’m supporting today.

I’m best suited for anyone carrying the weight of depression or anxiety, those that are struggling in their relationships with loved ones, or for those who have had traumatic experiences or upbringings.

I really look forward to meeting you.

– Josie
